The end of the cosplay season is nearly upon us for another year and one of the major events have come and gone... So... what did I get up to I hear you say?
The usual travel to London followed by random encountering other cosplayers in tube stations and other locations throughout the London transport route to London Comic Con. Got into the hotel room around 2:30pm and quickly got changed into our casual Friday ensembles. I choose Ikki Tousen Kanu Unchou as she was easy to put on and walk around in (Pictures to come). London Comic Con was a little chaotic with the new ticket system that was put into place, but we were in easy enough soon after. Quick look round, then retirement to the hotel for food and conversations.
BIG day today, completely chaotic, people couldn't get in nor out of the convention as the back doors were closed off due to some filming going on. Very packed and hard to breath in places, luckily today was the day for Sniper Wolf from Metal Gear Solid. Easy to get into, easy to walk in and POCKETS!!! this is the best thing about it, I don't have to have people carrying things for me as I can do it myself for a change
Found the gang and instantly found Cosplay Fever who were making a new cosplay video involving time lapse. We had to stand on the spot for up to 8 - 10 minutes whilst the world past us. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nm2Tx…
Found the other Metal Gear Solid team soon after that and quickly made our way to a location for a shoot, however due to the back being shut this was a little impossible, however down some stairs we found a hallway good enough to capture us all together and the back ground suited us well...
A few more rounds of Comic Con was done then it was back to relax, eat pizza and enjoy being sociable.
Was the return of Blazblue and our little group was quite popular especially with a lovely Japanese man, who couldn't quite get off his phone quick enough for a photo opportunity. Found out there will be a panel next London Comic Con and will be there for that. Photos to come of the Blazblue Team. A relaxing day with loads of fun rummaging through wheelie bins, finding random chairs and a cage for sinks.
Overall one of the best London Comic Con I have attended for a while. No drama and no problems to report.
A truly good weekend had by all
