Cosplay page dedicated to mine and :iconthecyanidefactory: costumes and photos. Cosplaying since 2007 and 2009 we want to show new or old cosplayers that you can do great costumes and have plenty of fun whilst wearing them. We dont cosplay to be serious we do it because we love the characters so much we thought we would try and look like them. If you like what we do please visit us on Facebook on the link below:

London Comic Con Report

Journal Entry: Sun Jul 6, 2014, 11:51 AM

One of the biggest conventions for Cyanide Limes to be apart of. It zoomed by us as fast as a speeding train and we didn't see half of the people we promised to see. We enjoyed our time, however due to some absent friends we did feel the convention was missing a few pieces of the puzzle. The convention itself was spacious and surprisingly comfortable to walk around, without having to squeeze passed people body to body. We did have one complaint and hopefully Comic Con will sort this out for October Comic Con, but this remains to be seen.

This year the entrance for grabbing your tickets was in the middle of the Excel Centre. Perfect! more space inside and less queuing inside to congest the hallways... BUT... this was the only re-entry and entrance in the plans. There was a lot of exits, you could get out of Excel alright. This was a problem when it started raining as costumes were getting ruined. Most people ran for the inside comfort of Comic Con, only to be stopped for wristbands by one security guard just outside the door. A queued built up and it was deadlocked whilst it was hail storming. Comic con should of made a contingency plan of bringing the queue inside or opening some exits up as re-enter points for wristband personal only and exits. Other than that no other problems were reported in our eyes and the convention ran smoothly.

FRIDAY
This day was travel day and with delays all round we didn't get into the room until at least 3:30pm. We had no costumes for the Friday because we keep finding out that trying to get into costume and get to the convention on time usually doesn't happen and we rush around like headless chickens. We casually walked round to see what tables were where and got our bearings for the following days. Grabbed some food, and did some last minute repairs, gluing and taping before the day was out.

SATURDAY
We were really lazy, I mean lazy. We didn't get up until 10am and then didn't hit the convention surroundings until 1pm. A few bits and pieces had to be adjusted on Jin Kisaragi and Noel Vermillion. We escorted our friend Claptrap through the sea of people, before heading in. Due to the queuing to get into the con itself my holsters got a little beaten up and one of the holsters broke. A quick trip to the ever amazing cosplay desk and they were soon mended.

A few photos were taken by random strangers whilst we were walking around. Frozen yogurt was eaten and a famous Youtuber Ashens was filmed and snapped. A good afternoon all round. Saw a few other friends along the way back to the hotel. A few shots were taken by James then it was time for pizza and cards against humanity. We also discovered on this day some fellow cosplayers aren't as courteous to others and my gun holsters were soon broken again in the elevator going up to the room.

Unfortunately due to food being so damn slow we missed out on the tactical suit up with the Metal Gear Solid crew during the evening.

SUNDAY

We decided to get up a little earlier than the previous morning. We had two photoshoots booked for the day and so we had to look our best. After gluing and taping ourselves into our sailor scouts. We were only a few minutes delayed for Jenn and her photographer. Another couple of problems arise but soon disappeared once we got to a suitable location and a not so windy one. Went inside Comic Con for a last look around before meeting up with Ian for the last photo shoot of the day and weekend. We finalised Comic con with chinese and Kick Ass with some fabulous friends. A few more cosplay plans were made. By the time we went to bed and woke up again the weekend was over.

Another successful convention. We want to thank every one that we meet during the weekend, and sorry to the others that we missed. Hopefully we will see the missed guys at London Comic Con in October. We admit we will be very busy with Eurocosplay, but any given breathing space will be hanging around with great friends once again.

Hello and welcome to the page of Combustible Limes.
I am currently in residence around the area of Bristol, UK

My main hobby and what my Deviantart is mostly used for is Cosplaying. I love bringing my favourite characters come to life and making their costumes that they wear. I have been cosplaying since May 2009, London Expo May 2009 was my first convention. I cosplayed Miku Hatsune as her original version.

I also do bit of traditional fan art and when I get the chance and I love baking cakes and snacks for the family. I also practice two circus skills of poi poi and hula hopping.

Unfortunately due to funds I will not be attending. I will be at London Comic Con October and will be attending Birmingham Comic Con in November for the day :) Would be lovely to do all the conventions around the UK though at some point. I know a few friends of mine are going to a convention in Leeds, is that Thought bubble per chance?

That will be thought bubble, it's not official as not listed on the official comic con and cosplay website, i might come to Birmingham and do I have to change my character often as it's expensive to spend money on being someone to become someone else weeks later.

Cosplay can be expensive, however I have recently dived into my cosplay box up in the attic and found stuff I haven't seen for years.
I've been re-making a few pieces that I know haven't stand the test of time and decided to wear them out again.

You don't need a new costume every time a new convention comes on to your agenda. If you love the character I don't see a problem in wearing the costume on several occasions :) It's cheaper and easier. Once you've built a cosplay collection you can swap and change as you please and then add one new one a year or every so often then.

Hey lovely, on mine and my partner's cosplay facebook page :3 I spend most my time there rather than here on Deviantart.
www.facebook.com/cyanidelimes or search Cyanidelimes in the search bar. It will be easier to keep updates and messages all in one place. Thank you for the compliment lovely :) I'm happy they are all done and sorted for Expo.
