Hey Guys and Girls

A little later than planned as its been almost a week and a half that Expo has passed and I haven't done the obligatory post Expo post. First things first, it's now called London Comicon, a re-brand for the MCM Expo to make it more like it's sisters from over the pond e.g. San Diego Comicon and New York Comicon.

So what happened? What's the news Combustible Lime?
Friday was a frantic get to the hotel, get into FLCL cosplays and reek havoc across the Excel Centre. Unfortunately, this didn't go to plan, with a few delays on the underground and waiting for people to turn up the best we could do was drop bags, get food, get wristbands then reek minor havoc 30 minutes before Comicon closed for the evening.
was around in the vincity and took a couple of shots of my Haruko before departing ways and never was to be seen again during the next 2 days.


Saturday was Black Rock * Shooter day. Leather on a hot sticky sunny day wasn't the best idea of the weekend, however was the best day of the weekend by far. The cannon made by had many compliments and people admired our Black Rock * Shooter costumes. The cannons' lights gave us a bit of trouble due to all the people knocking into the cannon the connection snapped a few times so a few pit stops had to be done in order to get them working and back in full working order.

Sunday was hot, very hot, we spent majority of the day out in the sun, eating our weight in ice-cream. Pure Bliss...
This day was the return of my gijinka cosplay of Miltank.  Designed by Worn in 2010 it was time to get her out and re-wear her for the weekend. Easy to wear, light and adorable. Couldn't of picked a better costume for the last day. Got a few photos from Gary Moore.


Then the evening we decided as it was cooler to re-wear Haruko Haruhara from FLCL and cause the havoc we didn't before. We had an amazing time even got a chance to be in a video. Unfortunately when we did the first take, I smacked my guitar too hard on head and broke it in two. So more repair work is needed.

Was a brilliant weekend and we laughed so much

In other news I am still working in Aldi, however due to some trouble this might be cut shorter than expected as I can't take it any longer. My sister is now living back with us after 2 years of being in Manchester. We have a full house once more, and the cat still rules the roost.
